Nah. Former mosquito biologist here (and from Georgia). Avon skin so soft works okay for short periods of time. What you really want (besides the great DEET) is lemon eucalyptus. Not lemon, not eucalyptus, not geraniol, not any of the other shit. Lemon eucalyptus. Cutter makes a great productwith this in it. Or picaridin. Here's a study showing the effectiveness of various products (including Victoria Secret Bombshell and Avon SSS) on Aedes a. sp. mosquitoes.

Also - the one secret mosquitoes don't want you to know - fans. They can fly for miles to find you but their weak ass wings can't beat 2mph breezes. So get an oscillating fan. There's also new technology in clothing that makes it to where mosquitoes can't probe through the fabric.

We have it good compared to the southeast as far as mosquitoes and ticks go.
