I disagree, I’d still build one u/ginkgobill as it offers better for the bang for the buck. If you have gone with u/tronatula’s SSD upgrades, the HP PC would be close to $1250, about same cost as the list I provided you.

GPU (It might go OOS soon so get it ASAP): https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Graphics-DisplayPort-Military-Grade-Certification/dp/B096YPLGHG/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1AZFYD93FCWNQ&keywords=3070Ti&qid=1649602460&refinements=p_36%3A-70000&rnid=386442011&sprefix=3070t%2Caps%2C149&sr=8-1
With this you can get a better GPU and more SSD. You can ditch the cooler for stock cooling but I tend to like going for an aftermarket cooler for quietness.
The 5600 is almost identical to 5600X in terms of performance.
3070Ti is slightly better than 3070. If you have the budget you could even go for a 3080 or a 6800XT, r/buildapcsales have some good deals on it.
Microcenter sometimes has good deals on CPUs and motherboard. There’s a $50 off coupon for CPUs: https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcsales/comments/tztpaq/cpu_50_off_coupon_for_5600x5800x12700k12900k_in/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3
Edit: They’ve raised the GPU price up :( Microcenter might still sell this GPU at $700. Another option is keep on checking r/buildapcsales for GPU deals, GPU prices as a general trend are dropping so I would personally avoid prebuilts.
