Nope. Are you using a USB-C to USB-A adapter? If so that's the problem since USB-C supplies more power and bandwidth than USB-A. That's also probably why you get stuttering etc. My motherboard has a USB-C port but my last computer I installed this PCI-e card that adds a USB-C port and that worked fine.

Why wouldn't these be compatible?

It's Amazon -- basically no risk. Buy them, try them, return if need be.
