Hello.

The altimeter needs airflow. I put mine inside nose cone and drilled two small holes to allow air to flow. It uses the barometric pressure to calculate altitude.

Also from experience, when mounting a cam you want to be as far forward as you can be. With the Big Daddy that will be hard because it’s shorter. My best results have been with This Cam on the smaller scale rockets.

Placing them opposite is a good idea and may be your best bet.
