Wrong type. I bought this one a few years back for S video. It works on SNES, N64 and Gamecube...
Hey - I am new to retrogaming and just saw this comment. I recently purchased S-Video cables for all my old systems. I bought the Tomee and Gam3Gear cables from amazon to plug into the actual system (routing them through a manual pelican switcher), with some loose cords from amazon to go from the switcher to the TV.
The cords at castlemania don't look any different than the ones I bought, and they are about the same cost. Do you know if they are somehow better than the ones I bought? Or if there is an easy way to see if the cables I got are not "high quality" like you mentioned?
Again I am new to this so any help you can provide would be super. Thanks!
I'm using these on my LCD TV and have no complaints:
Take this one for example: https://www.amazon.com/Gam3Gear-Nintendo-Gamecube-Video-Cable-Super/dp/B00LE3EAIK/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=snes+s-video+cable&qid=1555157325&s=gateway&sr=8-2#customerReviews
Overall, the reviews are pretty solid. But the top rated review points out some cheap design and claims it's not much different in terms of quality as an official composite cable.
