Can you take a picture of it? All the USB-C ports I have seen on switches require a driver which then will create a COM port once connected. At the same time, those switches had a regular RJ45 console port as well.

I think I misunderstood what you were saying... Sounds like it wants a null modem cable. If you can't a USB-C one then get a regular DB9 one and use a null modem cable to turn it into a female end. Something like this:
