Id say go with something with T12 tips. More expensive tips than the 900m the 926 uses, around $6-7 for the cheap ones on Amazon($4-5 on Ali), but will make your life much easier. Very fast heatup and much better temperature stability.

Used both types and would never go back to 900m type tips.

Heres one option, or this one if you have a laptop brick with 5.5x2.1 jack laying around.

soldering station: the more $$ you have the better you will get.
But these are like "the thing" right now.
ksger / T12
And then get a set of metal tweezers, metal sponge for cleaning the tip, good gel flux. I'm using Amtech nc-555-tf but that's way to expensive for a startes. To be honest just take anything like some chipquick - just to make the solder flow.
Get a can IPA to clean (I am using Kontakt PCC, not sure if available in US - but it's nice because of pressurized content and nice brush).

Get some 60Sn40Pb soldering wire.

And but 2x cheap side cutters/snips
