Thanks for your response. I use this Toothbrush. order it off amazon. IT is super soft tapered tip and it really gets down in the gumline. I am hoping it is safe and doesn't cause any damage. One toothbrush usually lasts me 3 months before I need to change it.

I do have some black triangles between some of my teeth where food gets stuck so thats why I use the interdental brush, but I also use a smart floss which is soft and expands in big spaces so I can probably skip the interdental and just do the floss.

I don't have any pre-existing condition and the gum pockets last time I had a checkup were all in the normal range, but I have a thin bio-type. Had some generalized gum recession due to ortho work which I had to do gum graft for, so I am a bit paranoid about keeping the gums healthy, hence the extra brushing of the gum graft areas. Also, I wear an essix retainer overnight and notice that I get a bit more build up specially on the bottom teeth compare to when I wasn't wearing any retainer (hence, the extra brushing on the lower teeth).

I have an electric toothbrush with a timer and super soft tip, but using it, I felt like the rotation and the vibration was too much for my gums. Having said that, the few times I used it. I noticed it really cut down on my routine time. I think part of why it takes me so long is because I try to be slow/gentle when doing it manually which takes longer.

But thanks for your advice, I will try to cut down on my routine for one of the brushings and then maybe just do the whole thing like I have been doing only at bedtime. At my next cleaning, I will pass my routine by my hygienist too.
