There are delivery lockboxes that you can buy to help protect your packages. I've seen plans somewhere to build your own. Here's an example] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RJ6QHCH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_0VN2C19N1JYGHAPJCGTM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1)

Check with your school to see if you can get an on campus P.O. Box like you would if you were living on campus. If not, consider a delivery box (Example).

This delivery box has been incredibly effective on my porch. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RJ6QHCH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Every delivery driver has used it as long as the box fits.

The Safeway in Canton has an Amazon locker. There's a few others.

I've also seen these in front of a few homes: Keter Delivery Box for Porch with Lockable Secure Storage Compartment to Keep Packages Safe.

Lastly, you can sign up with UPS and FedEx for their delivery manager services.

Basically, if there is a package coming to your house, you can use the UPS or FedEx apps to redirect the package to a nearby UPS or FedEx store where you can pick it up.

Yes, many people in my neighborhood do the sign for delivered around back.

I also have one of these.

I don't do a ring camera because I don't think that deters anyone here.

You could buy something like this. I have also seen a ton of DIY videos on YouTube for delivery boxes.

You can buy one or build one of these yourself. Place the package in the top and when the lid closes, it drops the package below where people can't get to it.

Hi maybe new neighbor! I'm also on Hanover and honestly it is fairly okay here, yes it happens and one of our neighbors has this kind of thing https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RJ6QHCH?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_W6RHRX1EPYSCDZHNHSAT and I wouldn't say leave your packages for hours / or have anything sensitive left outside, like medications or electronics I have delivered to my workplace or to UPS / Fedex stores. But I haven't had issues where even before you realize the package is dropped off someone has walked off with it either.

I have a feeling she is collecting packages for her own benefit. She doesn’t want the “porch pirate” element near her from door. Maybe check out something like this?
