Random safety devices to help offset my own paranoia. Like this seatbelt cutter/glass breaker for cars, this rape whistle/personal alarm for jogging and such, this aerosol fire stopper for around the house, and a few other goodies.

For a fire extinguisher I have one of these- LINK

It’s not big and less complicated then a conventional one.

In general I suggest against prepping for zombies. As devoting time and money into it can be better utilized in more realistic prepping in your day to day life and more common and realistic emergencies.

Some of the things you should prioritize are pretty simple.
Cleaning and locking up outside clutter to prevent giving burglars a tool to break in.
Installing and using a peephole or smart doorbell before opening a door.
Put a slip-resistant mat in bathroom and kitchen to prevent falling.
Clean your living area of tripping, blocking, and fire hazards.
Keep heating systems away from carpets and flammable objects.
Wear a mosquito net and repellent when in areas with bugs like mosquitos, ticks, flies, and bees.
Having a certified fire extinguisher in the kitchen, work areas, and living space.
Use a surge protector to protect your appliances and expensive electronics.
Not leaving your keys in your car or leaving your car unlocked. Even for a "short" trip.
Keeping your car clean and clutter-free so random stuff doesn't smash you in the face.
Learn how to do weekly personal car checks.
Keeping jumper cables, tire iron, and a spare wheel in the car, spare clothes, road cones or flares, and knowing how to use the tools and equipment you have.
Having a headlamp or flashlight near dark areas where such tools will be nesscary to restore power or work.
Keeping a first aid kit in your house and vehicle along with getting training on how to use it.
Cleaning your dish wear and clothes so you always have something clean to eat off and wear.
Closing your windows at night and when you leave.
Know alternative routes to and from home or when taking long road trips.
Eating a balanced healthy diet along with learning how to cook.
Drinking plenty of water.
Regular exercise and pick up a sport.
For those with glasses or medication, having spare glasses and a bit of extra medication will be necessary.
Having multiple emergency contacts that aren't just your parents. Including one that is in a different city as you.
Have a physical copy of your emergency contact information on you.
keeping your vehicle topped off and your phone charged.
Learn how to swim.

Here are some items that could be helpful in real life emergencies with a total of about 108usd.

With that being said, I do have a rather lengthy post focused on survival kits, bags, and the like here:

The main areas to consider in a zombie apocalypse are: Security, Shelter, Water, Food, and Sustainability.

How you go about prepping stuff for these areas depends on a number of factors around your personal life. For the most part it isn't really necessary to buy new things to try and be prepared.

If you want to the tool kit in the car emergency kit has a hammer for a weapon, a pair of screw drivers to act as back up weapons, gloves and a vest for protection, flashlight for seeing in the dark, an emergency blanket and poncho to help with shelter if you aren't in the car or at home, zip ties and adhesive tape to repair things. So the main areas missing are for water and food.

This cheap kit is only 28usd so you could buy two of them for 56usd, one for yourself and one for your significant other. So you both can have a fire rod, water filter, fishing hook and line set, spoon, and a barebones cut and scrap kit.

Handcrank radios with NOAA channels is pretty good to have across a number of disasters. In this case it allows you to potentially charge some of your devices for 16usd.

Any backpack is generally fine, but having a basic drawstring bag is likely going to be helpful if you don't have one immediately or just for organization for 6usd.
