I’m brand new to tea too so I just followed the instructions on their website which were

Simply heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil. Then pour 6 oz water over tea (bag) and steep for 3-5 minutes. (Then remove the bag)

I have an electric water kettle like this that I used to get the water boiling but I’m sure you could put a mug in the microwave if you didn’t want to get a pot out. Also idk what filtered water means but I just used tap water
