I found that the Nintendo Switch hubs work fine with the Steamdeck. For instance I currently have this and have tested it to work fine Have tested and works dock. I am waiting on This to try it with my switch as that first dock doesn't seem to work for me but I have been told it has for others but it should work for the SteamDeck just as well. The Nubia RedMagic is ideal but as you said it needs to be here within the week. I do have to add though that I also have the Nreal Adapter attached also.
