Update: may have finally found it! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Y5CDJMT/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?
i need it for 2.8 mm type pins for my open barrel 22-16awg, edit2 ok maybe this is it https://www.amazon.com/WMYCONGCONG-Automotive-Electrical-Connectors-Motorcycle/dp/B07GPS3ZBN/ref=pd_bxgy_vft_none_sccl_1/138-6230304-3455556?
well, i initially wanted it for spade connectors but this looks like it is for bullet connectors, so as long as my crimp tool can do the open barrel type i should be good, but i need to verify that this 2.8mm bullet pin can accommodate 22-16awg.
I am thinking if i fold over the 22awg into the open barrel crimp connector, any of these options may work.
Final Update: I ended up going with these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GPS3ZBN? the main concern with these types of connectors I am finding in the amazon reviews is the quality and durability of the pins and housings. I assume for my application with low current behind the dash it should be just fine.
