I feel a bit awkward -- at the last minute I went with the Asus 200 instead of the C720.

the Asus Bay Trail chipset isn't as powerful as the Acer's but the keyboard and trackpad are considered quite a bit better. I'm betting that with coding the keyboard will be more important given that I'll be looking at the labor un-intensive sublime most of the time and I doubt Node will give it much trouble. Cloud 9, however, might push it... we'll see. the Asus 200 is also a bit lighter which might make a difference. I'm hoping the 4GB will punch the up the snappiness overall.

also, I got a minor imperfection model from Amazon's warehouse for $185 so I think I did OK. I'm excited to get going on this thing!
