I'm looking at this monitor and this camera for a backup system that's $46 total.

I currently drive 80 miles each way to work, so yeah, good radio is nice. Not sure I wanna invest in a better speaker system though, since I only see this car being driveable for another 3 years tops.

Currently looking at ways to swap the in-dash radio for an ipad mini. Last part I need is an amp (?) to send l/r rca connections to all the speakers. I think I'd get a better experience from an ipad than the head unit options that are currently available. Plus even if I want a head unit in the future, I just get it and have a spare ipad.

The keyless rs system from digital guard dog looks cool. It is $700, but I think my dad said that a remote-start system would be ~$400...very tempting for $300 more :D

The foot well lights are a good idea, I'm actually about to re-do that to my bike. Accent lighting would be a nice touch.

Thanks for the ideas!

Sony Board Cam

Boscam 200mW vTX/RX

7" Screen

That should get you going for about $100.00. Don't buy fatshark goggles on amazon unless you want to pay 100 extra. getfpv.com has fair prices and domestic shipping. If you really want to use amazon cards though, theres the fatshark predator v2 RTF kit.

Lastly, you really should get an amateur radio (ham) technician license. You aren't (legally) allowed to transmit without a license. EDIT: Unless of course the item is Part 15 approved, which is mostly 25mW little TX's that will not be good enough.
