As you can see I have the whip on the gear but there is still no way for me to twist the locking mechanism off. Maybe I twisted on something that wasn't really the locking mechanism? I'm really afraid of it breaking. I'm just surprised it's on there so tight. I didn't screw it on hard. The thing I'm referring to that I can't get off is the black ring on the end.
