Almost forgot about the sandbags. You can get these on Amazon or B&H. The bigger ones are large enough to provide rear support and a strap to clip on to so the panels don't fall forward. You would tighten the hanging kit until the tension is enough to keep the panels from tipping forward: https://www.amazon.com/ABCCANOPY-Sandbag-Saddlebag-Design-Weight/dp/B01M264VSY/ref=zg_bs_3348211_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=B5M1MFX09WM1AY7FPPPZ
They come empty and you just buy the sand at Lowes or Home Depot.
I made a freestanding barre out of PVC pipes - the best thing about it is you can easily take it apart when you move or your wife goes back into the studio full-time!
I used this tutorial. I recommend buying a pipe cutting tool, since I had to tweak the pipe lengths during assembly.
I also spray-painted my barre a blush pink.
To keep the barre from shifting too much, I used four photographer's sandbags filled with small garden stones. I still need to have the base of the barre against a wall or large piece of furniture, and it's not sturdy enough to do certain moves like chair or waterski. However, your wife will be able to do 90% of the moves, and do alternate moves if necessary - and having a barre is lightyears better than using a chair!
The project cost $80.

We bought an FireTV Lite for $20 and are using WiFi and the Bally Sports app.
We did buy a Bluetooth speaker to connect to the projector but it’s not loud enough so we may look for something else. The built in speaker on the projector is decently loud and good enough for Padres games but if we want to do a movie night and have more people, we need something louder.
