Getting ready to buy the gem cut myself. Can't offer any personal experience but I can share some research. According to this thread, this and this dock were able to charge the x360 13-ae0xx (late 2017 model?) despite the fact that the HP dock would not. Might be worth trying out. They are both 60W but I would be happy if they slow charged since when using I'd be at my desk for extended periods of time.
