You can probably find cheaper controllers, but this is what I usually run with. Only downside is the wires and joysticks can crap out if you're too rough with them, but I think that exists on pretty much all peripherals. I suggest you be gentle with it when you first get it and give it time to loosen up and let the parts break in like when you buy a new pair of shoes.
That controller you have though should be fine for playing Neptunia. But for other games, I would probably use this or any other cheap wired 360 controller you can find lying around or whatever you're comfortable with. I think wired PS3 controllers are cheaper, but I personally can't recommend them since I don't use them.
If it was affordable, I would probably get the Dualshock 4 and map the touchpad to the mouse.
you need this type of controller, but i use my friends broken 360 street fighter 4 arcade stick you just plug your controller into the adapter and the 360 controller into it. i have not tried a ps3 controller on it yet but if it matters it will also let you use your 360 controller on your ps3 and i have not experienced any lag in any sort
I am using this for like 3 years, did Y0, K1, K2, DS remastered, Sekiro (for platinum) with this gamepad. Good one, wired, around 50 bucks
