You might have to redrill holes or the stock sub holes might line up perfectly. The stock sub is dual 2 ohm so its 4 wires coming off. 2 negatives, 2 positives. You can look online to see which ones are the negatives and which are positives. Cut the factory harness off and put the wires right into the new sub. Make sure the polarity is correct.
My stock sub used to pop, i think it’s something to do with the factory sound processing. Make sure that the sub is actually bad because I’d hate you do all of this just to have the same result. I took my stock sub out completely and replaced it with a 12” sub and a Pioneer amp. Sounds MUCH better.
