These are not clear, but I like Klein Tool canvas pouches. Available in multiple colors and you can always sew on a a piece of velcro onto the canvas if you ever wanted to create a swappable labeling system. I use those for grip / rigging kinda stuff like nogas, clamps, etc.
For cables, I use small mesh makeup bags as well. I'm sure a local retailer sells something similar. Daiso is good for them as has been mentioned, but I prefer this style.
My cables that always go with me are already in my backpack. I have a few kits put together for special tasks that I put in zippered bags.
One kit I have for just serial stuff I use one of these Klein bags.
If you want to go cheap you can buy pencil organizers at Walmart and I think they are around a buck. The zipper is somewhat delicate, but you can buy 10 of them for what the Klein bag costs. I use some of these for kits and some for other organization. When flying I'll dump my pockets into a bag like this and put it in my backpack so I don't have to do it on the spot before going through the line.
