oof, I also picked up that one. I bought a Racebox Mini which is actually pretty amazing hardware, super accurate, fast refresh and all that, but it's severely closed off to its own app and a couple others. They want others to code to their API, instead of making it open to all apps that can mock location, or work natively with iOS/iPadOS API. It's also a lot more modern with USB-C interface and a bunch of other constellations other than GPS and GLONASS.
But you can't even use the app (hence use the thing at all cause it's needed for pairing) without an online account. And they block Firefox Relay and probably other private email alias services. You can probably use the couple third party apps available, but they're not free. It just annoyed me so much with all that BS so I just returned it.
Disappointingly the Glo 2 and all the other more open ones seem to have very old hardware. At least the Glo 2 is sort of inexpensive in comparison.
