Here's one other option. Call or visit your local Public Libraries, and ask them if they lend out DVDs. If they do lend DVDs, then ask them to consider pre-ordering The Orville on DVD. If the library agrees to acquire it at their expense, you'll be able to borrow the DVD from them after it arrives in mid-December.
