In time you will probably have a small number of tools that you prefer to use. After years of working in ceramics, I drastically pared down my large initial supply of tools. But I used to carry many tools around with me in a fold-out multi-tiered case. It was heavy. Now I tote around a relatively small(-er) number of tools which I organize in those plastic pencil cases used by school kids, (I get the 12 inch size). I also use other plastic containers. I have one case for wet work tools, one for trimming tools, one for tools I use less frequently, one for brushes, etc. When I sit at the wheel I pull out the wet-work case, when I decorate I pull out a different case, and so on. I know exactly what is where. I carry these cases together in a reusable grocery bag; I also have a duffel bag for them when I need to add more or larger tools. I find it to be quite efficient. The cases are easily cleaned. I get mine at local stores but they are available online: https://www.amazon.com/Storage-Organizer-Multipurpose-Supplies-Available/dp/B09DDGYS6R/ref=sr_1_37?dchild=1&keywords=plastic+pencil+box&qid=1633895470&sr=8-37
Good luck with your decision!
