Thanks. I went ahead and bought the panel you linked to on aliexpress for the USB C. It also had a barrel power input, but the text says also USB C power interface. Hope that it's the right one.
I was thinking since my motherboard B550M Mortar has only one USB C header and the Hyte has a USB C front panel I would use this:

If this is your mb, then you have two potential USB C headers along the right side underneath your mb power connector. Assuming the Type E (Gen 2) header is open you could use this type of cable for power to the VSDisplay. There maybe flat cables available too. No adapters needed. It's possible the Gen 1 header would also work but you would need a different cable to match the mb header.
Unless I am mistaken I don't think USB 1.0/2.0 can deliver enough power to run the VSDisplay, so the two links you have above would not work.
