For people interested in detailed information on these Cables, I think these might be it -
Amazon - SKW A Pair Audiophile Speaker Cable, 2.5m - $161.99/pair -

The specs look pretty good; I'm even more impressed now. These are nylon jacketed, double shielded, 14ga high quality copper with interchangeable connector ends, and noise blocking magnetic ring . Those aspects cost money, and all things considered, while expensive, I really don't see $160/pr as prohibitively expensive. As I said, if I had a system that could justify it, I would seriously consider this cable.
Now if you want seriously expensive, I was in a discussion in another audio forum about wire and cable, and someone posted a link to a 10ft Speaker Cable Pair that were ON-SALE for $12,500/pr. I think that might be getting carried away, but it's not my money.
SKW also sells a wide range of Cables -
