I recently got the LRP anthelios SPF 50 mineral sunscreen based on recommendations from this sub and I love it! My skin can't tolerate many sunscreens - they make my skin sting - but this stuff is GREAT. It's less greasy than Blue Lizard but it doesn't make my skin feel sensitive and red and tight like Elta MD UV Clear SPF 46. It feels very light but it's non-irritating. It disappears on your face. I bought the tinted one by accident but it's surprisingly subtle. There's only one shade and there's juuust enough bronze pigment to neutralize the white cast from the minerals. You can't really see it. The only downside to this tinted one is that I wear white N95 masks and I reuse them, so I don't use this sunscreen if I'll be wearing a mask bc I don't want the pigment to rub off on it. I think the non-tinted version would probably be great too though. If there's a white cast you can always throw a little bronzer over the visible part of your face if you'll be wearing a mask. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007U54P36/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

KISS (Keep it simple, stupid).

Nix the vitamin C. Unnecessary, evidence is not great, marginal benefit if it does work.

And don't use a retinol on your face every morning, it's for use at night--it makes you more photosensitive and prone to burning. Cheapest is OTC adapalene gel. Pea-sized amount to whole face every night. Costs like $25-35 and one tube lasts me at least 2-3 months.

Every morning wear a sunscreen. Anything by Cerave, Eucerin are on the cheaper end, non-comedogenic, and generally texturally pretty well-tolerated.
EltaMD is slightly more expensive but I think more cosmetically elegant. Their facial sunscreen is fairly reasonable.
Tizo is a great one that's more expensive and even more nicer to put on.

If you tan, I'd recommend a tinted sunscreen, make sure the ingredient label has iron oxide. From cheapest to most expensive:
