I buy the herbs from amazon.
The passion flower my mom gets out of yard and the ginger I buy fresh from the grocery store.
I'm not big on measuring, so I just fill a pot with enough water to have 2-3 cups of tea and put about an inch of slice ginger in it and just over a tablespoon of burdock root, nettles and passion flower. I bring it to a boil and then turn it off and let it steep for awhile. For my first cup I add the gelatin (check necessary water temp or it clumps and it's disgusting when it does this) and then pour the tea over a fine, small sieve. I shoot for at least 2 cup a day, usually 3. I just leave the herbs in the water and reheat for each cup. So sometimes it will steep for hours. I have no idea if this could be a bad thing. The tea, especially the ginger can get quite strong but I like it that way.
Add stevia and drink.
Try making it and letting it sit on your scalp for a half an hour before you shower as well. Can't hurt. I don't do the gelatin with this, but it might be worth a try. I've put gelatin on my face before and it was nice. It might work for your hair too. Definitely research it.
Edit: Also try to reduce your stress. I always lose way more hair if I get very stressed out.
