For spatula, once my plastic POS ones finally die, I'm buying this and/or this.
For stirring, just any old assortment of wooden spoons has done me good.
For serving stew (I cook a lot of chili), I've done well with any random sturdy ladle. Kitchenaid and Ono are good bets, but I'm pretty sure mine were $2 Farberwares or something similar.
