I got some of these Stageek cable raceway segments in a set for cheap from Amazon:

They work great for cables, not so much for power bricks. For larger stuff, something like this might work (I haven't tried these, but might when I finally pull the trigger on my standing desk purchase):

Otherwise, I expect that if you need something mounted with screws, it should work fine in bamboo as long as the screws aren't ridiculously tiny and the stuff you're supporting isn't ridiculously heavy. Run-of-the-mill cables and power adapters should be totally safe.
