I bought the Wacom Intuos 3 when I was in school and I still feel no need to upgrade. It's what my university had and I bought one for home. Overall, Wacom is great. I think the tablet you mentioned is the equivalent of the Bamboo tablet, and it should be good enough. I don't think it's quite as refined as the other more expensive tablets, but to fiddle with animation and other digital art it should be great. If you're trying to do really detailed serious digital paintings where you want absolute control you might want something better, but otherwise I think you'll be fine.

Tablets do take some gettjng used to though if you've never used one before, so make sure you give yourself time to adjust. It can feel weird to draw on the desk while your eyes are on the screen, but you get used to it with practice.
