HELP ME!!! lol

What switch are you using? I have researched this many times and each time my research leads me to believe that it is impossible to use a light switch as an Alexa routine trigger.

I've been wanting to use light switches to trigger routines but none of my light switches are available to use as triggers. It may be that my current light switches are connected through the Lutron app and instead I need to use switches that are native to Alexa?

I also saw this in one of the reviews for Amazon's own smart switch: "It was easy to install since there was nothing special. However, despite this being an Amazon product, it misses a key feature which is showing this switch as an Alexa Routine trigger. Hopefully a software update will fix this."

And this: "Switches do not show as triggers in the Alexa routines within the Alexa app. Hoping they would add this future at some point in the future."

How are you able to use a light switch as a trigger?
