thanks. I've dealt with the WP1 and the DrProc and have made a bit of progress. the 9th LED lights up, the 14ths blinks sometimes, and the readout will allow files to run. However it still doesn't shoot or move, and i still can't get it to talk to my computer (only has a baked in circle for testing).

As for the stepper motors, I've been trying to use these DM320Ts but am still having trouble. they power on, but thats it. currently i have them rigged as followed: DIR to DIR, PUL to PUL, +5V to +Vdc, a spare GND on the unused CNC6 connector of the controller to GND for both drivers, and A+ A- B+ B- to the motors themselves. for the X I have it set to 0.7A peak and Y to 1.0A peak. at the moment they are unresponsive other than powering on.

as for the LPWM, I don't know how to connect that. for that connector, in addition to the new WP1 connections I'm using the wires that used to go to the interactive board from the M2 nano, with G to GND and In to L-on1, with wires for 5v and P+ being unused. looking at the diagram I think maybe in should connect with LPWM, but in that case I'm not sure how to connect L-on1, P+ maybe?

As for the limits, the LED is on when they are disengaged an off when they are hit, not sure if that's right or not.

thanks again for your help

thanks. I have the additional 24V PSU that is shown in the listing at least. as far as stepper drivers, I have some left over ULN2003 drivers, would those work? assuming they don't, how about this model? actually it looks like I can get the model you're talking about for cheaper anyway, but I'd still like to use the ULN2003s if I can.

also I'm still a bit confused in regards to the connection to the old interactive board. I get that GND goes to G and L-AN1 goes to in, and that I don't need the 5v or the LPWM1 connections, but what about the P- and P+?

I got everything shown in the listing i linked, including the display unit and the 24v switch power supply (though I'm also unsure how to wire that)

as far as drivers go, how do I know what to get? I have some left over stepper motors form a different project along with their ULN2003 driver boards, would a pair of those work? how about this model? I assume i need one for each axis?

thanks for your help
