This is the one I use and it works great.

Battery Charger: ORIGINAL SkyRC iMax B6 Super Multi Charger Balancer for Lithium (Li-po,), Ni-cd, Ni-mh, and Pb Battery

AC Adapter for charger: Adapter Supply Imax B6 Lipo Battery Balance Charger Us Plug+power Cord/power Cable (this does not come with the charger)

I started with 2200 and enjoyed the extra flight time. I would definitely switch to smaller in the future, but you are not going to start off flying like a crazy person, so I would say getting that extra flight time is worth it.

You are correct with the motors. You should have 2 ccw and 2 cw. But you can get all ccw, and flip two of the black wires on 2 of the motors, and they will spin cw. If this doesn't make sense or you have never heard this, let me know and I can sketch up some pictures or find a good video.

If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask. I am happy to help

You should definitely start with something like a hubson or Syma. I started with a Syma x5c and it was great. I flew with it for about a month, learned the basics, and knew I wanted to move onto bigger and better things.

If you are wanting to build your own, I would suggest learning how to solder. It's not too hard to learn and you you will be able to do repairs and upgrades. You will really want to know how to repair your quad because I promise you will break something :). I put a parts list together for you. But again, I would suggest starting with one of the quads listed above. You will want to crash with that instead of your built quad. But if you just want to jump into it, I won't stop you. Let me know if you have any questions!

You will also need zip ties, velcro, and heatshrink. You will also want to make sure you have extra wiring for WHEN you mess up your solders.

I got the Devo 7 controller. I guess the 7E is a little smaller? Not sure, but I don't have any regrets with my 7. I also changed the motors to the 1806-2 X 2300KV. Don't ask why, everyone else was doing it and I thought it a good idea to follow suite. FC should definitely be the CC3D, apparently it's better than the KK2.1.5.

Just a note, it's taking MyRCMart longer and longer to ship out their quads. I think I had to wait about 12 days before they shipped mine, but it arrived only four days after. Some people now are waiting 2+ weeks before they get real tracking information.

Regarding the charger, it's a good thing you reminded me, I forgot to add that to the cost. I got mine off Amazon, it's the SkyRC iMax B6 - if you get anything by SkyRC make sure you get the serial code on the back to verify it's genuine. Clones are iffier quality and you can really screw things up if they fail. (Battery explosions, etc). I paid $32.88 for mine at the time. Mine did NOT come with a power plug, however I had one at home that works fine. Output is 12V @ 1.5A. I forgot to mention it as a cost, since I had gift cards to pay for it (ha)

If you don't have something that will absolutely work, you can buy this that people have confirmed is compatible. It's only $7.95.

I got the PDB to help reduce weight by getting rid of a lot of the wiring. Also the PDB has integrated LED's on them, which means I can save more weight. It adds a lot of flexibility for future add-ons, and will be a good test for my soldering skills, of which I have none. Since I primarily fly with a heavier gopro, shaving as much weight off as I can is important to increase my flight times. Also it's just cleaner looking (not really necessary anymore since I have the reflectors installed)

So this is pretty much my build and its solid. It might be a little over $200, so I can help you bring the price down if that is an issue. These are low to midgrade parts and are all pretty sturdy.

Just remember that going from a hubsan to a 250 is a big step up. These are so much more power, but its totally worth it! Let me know if you have any questions

Props: 5030 Airplane 2-blade Propeller Props 50x3 CW Multi-Copter Quad-Rotor 2-Pairs and I have been using 5045s, I think I will stick with them. Giving me a lot more punch.

Battery: FLOUREONĀ® 2 New 3S Lipo Battery 11.1V 2200mAh 25C RC Rechargeable Battery Pack with XT60 Plug. I also use the 1800mAh note that I am trying to be a little more agile. Also, the have a variable C instead of a static like the 2200mAh I listed. Thats up to you. The bigger one gives longer flight times and less agility but you might want that at first.
