I have had that one for about 10 months (Started smoking 10 months ago). I use it twice a day, daily. I have even used it about 10 to 15 times in heavy rain with a homemade aluminon foil wind cover. It has gotten wet multiple times.

If you are having to spend this much money you may be better of getting a butane camping stove. You can get the butane cans very cheap at you local Asian supermarket. Each can would give you 3 to 4 lit rounds of coals. But this would add up over time, especially if you smoke everyday
