I have a basic rib rack. I dont baste. The pic with all of the ribs, the two on the oval plate were smoked 2, wrapped 2, then unwrapped again for one. The others no wrap or basting.
I have a basic rib rack. I just the bank coals on one side. Set the rack up perpendicular to the coals. Put 4 half racks on the rack and 1 on either side of the rack. I rotate them every two hours.
