Shoes: I have hard to fit feet (flat, narrow heels, previous surgery/partial numbness) and didn't want the hassle of hunting for shoes, so I bought a brand new pair of the Soulcycle rental shoes that I was used to wearing in studio (they're marked as Pearl Izumi Select Road; the sizing runs weird so consult the chart). My husband ordered about 6 or 8 pairs of shoes from REI and others before deciding on a pair of Venzo shoes that he found on Amazon (they were available in a half size, unlike a lot of other brands). Both pairs of shoes included the LOOK Delta clips that we use with the factory pedals. We both wear Bombas running socks or Soulcycle cycling socks.

Towels: I ordered a dozen white hand towels from Amazon Basics. I followed this tutorial to compactly roll them to fit perfectly in the bottle holders (handy so I don't forget a towel before clipping in). I keep the rolled spares in a small basket.

Water Bottle: We each have a squeezy REI branded insulated water bottle (actually made by Specialized). Neither of us was comfortable using the glass and metal bottles we already have for fear of dropping them onto the bike and awkwardness with unscrewing the tops.

Headphones: Both of us prefer using the bike's speakers, but if we need to ride silently I use the Bose SoundSport Free totally wireless headphones and he uses the Bose SoundSport wireless headphones. We both run outdoors and these get a lot of use.

Weights: Peloton three pound weights.

Fan: An open window and/or this Lasko pedestal fan.

HRM: Apple Watch.

Workout Clothes: We both have tons of workout clothes, but I admit that I'm fussier about what I wear. Most of my stuff is from Lululemon and Athleta, with Peloton, Miami Fitwear, Soulcycle and other brands mixed in. I wear Shefit bras for running but can get away with less support on the bike, so I usually wear a yoga bra or supportive top with leggings/crops, running shorts or bike shorts. Recently I started wearing Aerie Real Me Bike Shorts and they're currently my favorite; they're comfortable, lightweight, and don't pill. My husband always wears lined running shorts (usually Nike) and an Under Armour t-shirt to ride.

Just for Fun: Two weeks ago I bought this rainbow disco ball and like to do late-night rides with a sound-activated lightshow. Our bike is set up in our living room so we can't assemble anything more permanent, but in a (future) home gym situation I plan to build a podium with LED underlighting.
