That one should be the right card.
The card that gets recommended the most is the Intel AX210. I have this and it works very well for me.
However, if you're Hackintoshing, then you will want a module that is natively supported by macOS, especially if you want AirDrop and other functionality to work. This means getting a Broadcom-based WiFi+BT module. This would suit your needs well in that regard.
The WiFi+BT module you bought only has an E key. You need a variety that has both an A and an E key. I too have a 2022 G14, and I just did the swap myself successfully. The one I bought was this one -- and as you can see it has the A and E keys.
If you're using lspci, you must be using Linux. Fellow Linux user here -- I'm on EndeavourOS and it's working well for me thus far. However, I was having kernel panics upon wake from suspend or hibernate that I traced to the MediaTek MT7922 (the stock WiFi+BT module). I''m hoping that the switch to the AX210 will solve the problem. I can tell you that already, I'm getting (a) much faster transfer speeds, (b) none of the random disconnects I used to get, and (c) I have not yet gotten those kernel panics I was having before.
The chassis for the 2023 G14 is virtually unchanged from the 2022 G14. Here is what I can tell you from my experiences (both helping community members, and my own with my own 2022 G14).
Long story short: if I were you, I'd go for the RTX 4070. If history is any indicator, all of these GPUs will throttle under load, the 4080 and the 4090 more than the 4070. As a result, the differences in performance will likely not be all that large in sustained gameplay.

Note: Make sure you are grounded when you install it in your laptop and not wearing any socks because socks hold static electricity in your body.

Among the speed limitations and lag of the mediatek wifi card, I’m fairly certain this is why the enthusiast community here upgrades to the intel wifi card. Linked below, 3.5x my download speed and found the wifi connects much quicker after woken from sleep.
