I have many cases for my Note 5, for waterproof ones I have a couple for it. For the most part this one seemed to work well. But the flap part that covers the charger port ended up breaking on me. And the S-pen was a pain in the butt to get out. I could still get it out, but I had to hook it with my pinky finger to get it out. Otherwise it was a great case. Another one I have is this one, but it's really heavy duty, and more of a hard plastic shell with a rubber screen protector. You can use the touch screen, but lose the S-pen and side button usage. However it opens and closes easily. One of the things I've found to work well are those plastic pouches. I have a couple of those and it's as easy as opening, putting phone in and closing. But you lose S-pen usage, and side buttons can be used but it's tricky. Now if you just need a water resistant one, I have this one, and it's heavy duty. You still have access to everything, but the issue I had was when taking it apart I had the screen protector come out of the case. It's held in by double sided tape. And it was more my fault then anything, since I didn't read the directions on it and I was putting pressure on it when I was trying to separate the thing the first time. However once I read the directions I've taken it apart many times without that happening. So just read the directions and you should be fine.
