Dude, Spyderco Sharpmaker all the way. If you go to any of the knife subreddits they'll all tell you how amazing this thing is. Totally fool proof and will make your knives as sharp as you'll ever need them in very short order. It's much similar to those fixed angle systems you linked to, but in my opinion much superior. I can't recommend them enough.
Get the Sharpmaker. I'm terrible with my knives. As in, I feel like I'm constantly dulling them. Even if I try to use a honing steel, they somehow end up dull. Previously I used a cheap $5 sharpener, which made them usable again. But not great. And because I feel like my knives were always dulling quickly, I felt like professional sharpening would be a waste.
Bought the Sharpmaker after reading about it on reddit. It's amazing. I can slice through thin paper easily. Almost to the point of shaving hair off my arm. You don't have to get it that sharp, but it's possible.
There is a bit of a learning curve, so don't get discouraged if you end up dulling your knives the first couple of times. But it's well worth the money.
