I need SSDs a lot, I can recommend: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-2-5-Inch-Internal-MZ-75E250B-AM/dp/B00OAJ412U

It's a bit more expensive ($89.99), but hast 250GB and Samsung EVO SSDs have never disappointed me so far. 250GB is enough unless you want to install a big collection of games on your machine. I mean no one except you can know how many disk space you need, but I would definitely also install my OS on that SSD and not just PoE.

Don't forget to check after installation if your OS has TRIM support enabled, it's quite important for SSDs: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trim_(computing)

I want to get a new SSD for my desktop, then put my current ssd in my laptop.

Maybe a new 2nd monitor, because my current secondary monitor has very bad contrast and sucks for reading text.

I normally ask for giftcards to amazon from everyone but my girlfriend (she refuses). If I get money then I just put it in the bank, but giftcards are a way to spend guilt free.

It's a few dollars more expensive than the non-m.2 850 Evo.

Unless you're cramped on space, there's no real reason to pay more for an m.2 SATA SSD.

A Toshiba Evo 850 250GB SSD Pricespy, Amazon and a set of Kingston HyperX Fury 2x8GB 1866Mhz Pricespy, Amazon.

The shipment from Amazon with the fastest shipping cost me just over $350 with an additional ($5) non-tech item.
