I recently got a shin kaya board from YMI. I really like it, but find it kind of slick. Could be only because it is new and has had some kind of oil applied? If I shake the table the glass stones even shift slightly. Did not have the same issue with folding agathis board.
I have applied blowing alley wax to protect wood doors I have stained in the past and leaves the doors with a less slick surface, not sticky, but fingers don't glide as easily. You guys think this might be good for go boards? I have some already at home, but don't want to damage the board, especially the grid lines.
