I normally stick to brand names when it comes to speakers and DJ equipment, but Edifier Speakers on Amazon are great for the price.

As far as turntables go I would recommend an audio Technica-Lp60. A lot of people in the vinyl community are critical of it but the issues that it does have are not issues a new collector has to worry about. It's a fine table to start with and the best near your pence range. It also has a buitl in pre-amp which means you won't need to buy a receiver as well https://www.amazon.com/Technica-AT-LP60BK-Automatic-Belt-Drive-Turntable/dp/B008872SIO/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=audio+technica+turntable&qid=1560244255&s=gateway&sprefix=audio+&sr=8-3
In terms of ease of setup up I also recommend powered speakers over passive though it's all really up to your preference if you wanna do more research on that. I recommend powered edifers on Amazon, again nothing too complicated/fancy that can all be upgraded at a later time
Records can be purchased on Amazon, record stores, and even stores like urban outfitters depending on taste. There's a website/app called discogs that serves as a record market place that's great to buy rarer records from, funding record stores, and get info on release dates and stuff like that.
I had all this saved on my phone since I used to work in a record store and get asked every now and then but feel free to let me know if you have other questions I didn't answer
I recently wanted to started getting into vinyl. Of course in my blindness, I impulse bought a Crosley Cruiser on clearance for only $30. Really love the feel and vibe on vinyl but the sound is absolutely atrocious. I found a new affordable setup with the Orbit Basic turntable with the built in amp paired with the Micca PB42X (links below). I was just wondering if the turntable, amp, and powered speakers were all I needed to have a solid affordable setup, I don't want to order everything and then find out I need to spend another $150-$200 at least. I watched hours of videos and gained decent info, but most of it is pretty outdated and uses stuff similar to my dads speaker setup from the 2000's. If anyone could clarify that would make my day.

I have a very old Kenwood receiver and got these speakers https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016P9HJIA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 a year ago
If your not willing to save a bit, choices are more limited.
Check out the Cyber Acoustics speakers on Amazon that have a sub. I’ve used a set in the past on a computer and they sounded great.

OP, buy this from Amazon Warehouse. This is a decent starter setup better than the LP60 turntable.
Turntable is made by the same people that make the LP60 and the well regarded LP120, (basically this turntable is a LP120 with a different design aesthetic). $102
Powered Speakers Edifier also on Amazon Warehouse. $80
I purchased these a few months ago and they are awesome. There's a great video review on YouTube as well.Edifier Speakers
