Yes, it’s an internet router/modem. I don’t have a coaxial outlet in the room I’d like to have the router/modem in. So I was wondering if using a splitter on the cable running into the room would allow me to do so.

I looked into the swm splitter briefly on Amazon and found this splitter: https://www.amazon.com/Directv-Msplit2r1-03-Approved-2-way-Splitter/dp/B00BW6XDPU/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?keywords=directv+swm+splitter&qid=1687005139&sr=8-2

Do you think that would be acceptable? Thank you for the help.
