I've honestly had issues with utensils in the airports. They took my titanium knife (that wasn't sharp at all), the longer spork I had wouldn't fit in my food container and it eventually got lost, and airport security kept searching my entire bag because of this set.

The eat'n tool is small and has survived over the years. I like that it fits in most food containers. I have a thermos (that isn't going with me) and it fits well in there and also in almost any other food packaging from takeout. I've also have just had it for many years and don't see the need to buy something else. It's actually not sharp at all.

The chopsticks aren't sharp either and as you mentioned, they're really lightweight. It's another "nice to have" item because I just like eating with chopsticks, and the eat'n tool feels a little barbaric at times. ;)
