I would suggest getting a USB 3.0 enclosure; if not just getting a USB 3.0 drive to begin with. Your computer does have an E-SATA/USB 2.0 combo port, but E-SATA enclosures are more expensive and I wouldn't count on any other computers having E-SATA.
