I bought this recently but haven’t used it yet, but it has good reviews. Also you can use it sideways
Aloha from Kawaii Kon! We went as the Sailor Scouts and had a blast. We couldn't even travel from room to room without getting stopped for photos, sometimes we couldn't even pickup our bags between requests. I made a list of everything I bought (Sailor Jupiter) below. Make sure you get a Hand Steamer for any fabric cosplay, it was like $35 on amazon and makes the costume look like a million bucks. If anyone wants this list for any of the other 4 main Scouts, let me know as I organized and coordinated the group cosplay.
I have a $30 steamer from Amazon and it's the bee's knees. A small investment goes a long way.
BEAUTURAL 1200-Watt Steamer for Clothes with Pump Steam Technology, Portable Handheld Garment Fabric Wrinkles Remover, 30s Fast Heat-up, Auto-Off, 8.7 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N1QE5ME/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apap_XkCeKCPXOJZxw
I highly recommend the steamer by Beautural. It works beautifully with every use (always check to see if the fabric is "steamer friendly") and it gets bonus points for being really affordable! It never leaks, too! The last one was a leaking nightmare! I know that others will have their own steamers of choice, but I really do love this one!
Put a shoe tree in them and use a steamer. Much less awkward and less risk of melting the shoes vs. an iron
