We watch the major channels and put up an OTA antenna in the attic. Now use a TiVo Bolt OTA to perform the DVR functions like our old ISPs DVR. Here is an option if you are so inclined.

First of all take the u/The_Jedi advice and switch to the ONTs ethernet port to feed your router.

Here is my TiVo recommendation for you. I went with a TiVo Bolt OTA (also refurbished with the lifetime subscription) about a year ago and got rid of all of my Fios TV equipment a few months later. Had been fidling with OTA antenna and it has worked out well for me here. Everything else we get via streaming all at a much lower cost than the Fios TV subscription with its taxes and fees. Also got a TiVo Mini Lux for a second location in my house which works a lot like the Fios Mini STB. For streaming I got a couple of Apple TV 4k which integrate well with our other Apple devices. All the money I spent on the equipment I've already recouped with the $130 reduction in monthly fees.

I have my own router and MoCA adapters to feed my all coax wired house so that I have wired connectivity to the family room and basement entertainment center.

Here are a couple of diagrams that show how MoCA is used with Fios. I personally use the Motorola MM1025 MoCA adapters and they have worked well for me. There are other good MoCA adapters like GoCoax and ScreenBeam. Stay away from Hitron.

No regrets with my 300/300 Fios internet only plan. My only Verizon device it the wonderful Fios ONT which connects to their exceptionally reliable fiber service.

I did all this in phases, so an evolutionary process vs a revolutionary one. You can always just get the cable card for the TiVo until you can come up with an OTA solution like I did.
