It works great. The pole is 17". I'd prefer a little more than that. Even 18" would probably work. I want to open my 15" laptop underneath the dual monitors. It works but it would work better if the monitors were about an inch higher.

They have a 39" variety but that just seems ridiculously big.

You could get something like this if your wanted to mount it to the wall.

You'd have to adjust the monitors individually before raising the desk though.
