I was in the parade with my coworkers about five groups ahead of you, based on where you've said you work previously. I was also very concerned about printing given the work-related nature of marching in the Pride parade. I used a Carhartt cross body bag, and was able to conceal my Sig p365X plus red dot, one extra 15rd mag, two tourniquets, two chest seals, and some other medical essentials without issue. It was far less "gun bag" than some other options I have explored.
Once I was out of the parade and out of corporate attire, I transitioned back to appendix (gun and holster went from inside the bag to inside my waistband in a restroom).
Bags can be right for the right situation. Just be aware of their limitations, just like any other carry method including appendix.
